Job Overview

.As a Medical Gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating disorders and diseases related to the gastrointestinal tract. This is a full-time position based in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Gastroenterology
• Valid license to practice medicine in the state of Tamil Nadu
• 4 to 8 years of experience as a Medical Gastroenterologist
• Strong knowledge of gastrointestinal disorders, diseases, and treatments
• Proficiency in performing endoscopy, colonoscopy, and other diagnostic procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Commitment to patient care and safety
• Awareness of current research and developments in the field of gastroenterology

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with gastrointestinal disorders and diseases
• Perform diagnostic procedures and tests, including endoscopy, colonoscopy, and biopsy
• Interpret test results and develop treatment plans based on findings
• Prescribe and administer medications as necessary
• Perform minor surgical procedures when required
• Provide ongoing care and treatment to patients with chronic gastrointestinal conditions
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field and participate in professional development activities
• Ensure compliance with medical and ethical guidelines and standards
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records of patients
