Description
The position is a part of the GIS Quality team within GIS R2R organization whose scope includes supporting Data Warehousing, Data Integrations, Data Engineering, Workload Automations, Reporting (Models).
ResponsibilitiesTranslate business requirements into data requirements, data warehouse design and sustaining strategies on enterprise data platformsSolution architect, design and develop large scale and optimized analytics solutionsWork with project leads, users, and business SMEs to define technical specifications to develop data modeling requirements, code design and functional and technical documentationWork with specifications to design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure to provide business users with the tools and data needed to do their jobs more effectivelyWork with business analysts and process owners on the development of test cases and scripts, test models and solutions to verify that requirements are met and ensuring high levels of data qualityPromote and apply quality assurance best practicesBenchmark application performance periodically and fix performance issuesSupport Incident and Release ManagementSupport automation processes and on-callRequirementsExperience (8+ years) of Industry Experience in Enterprise AnalyticsStrong understanding of data warehousing, concepts related to data ingestion, data federation, data staging and transformation, data security and overall governance on SEC/ FDA compliant dataStrong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, promotion, and application of development best practicesHands-on development on enterprise ETL applications (Informatica Cloud/ Snaplogic), stored procedures, SQL scripting & any optimization supporting data integrations on enterprise data primarily from ERP (SAP), CRM (SFDC) and other Enterprise application systems.
