At Versatile, we're on the lookout for a Motion Designer available for a Full-time contractual role.
Job description:
As a Motion Designer, you'll be the maestro of motion, bringing static designs to life with your mastery over animation. You'll ensure that every animated element, from the subtle
bounce in their icons to the dynamic transitions in their interfaces, embodies the essence of the brand. Joining their team means you'll help set the motion design standards, creating
animations that weave seamlessly into their narrative and enrich their user's experience.
Working alongside their Product Designers, you'll play a pivotal role in evolving their
design language, crafting animations that not only look stunning but feel intuitive to their urban Indian audience. Ready to make a mark? We can't wait to have you
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging animations and motion graphics within the Design system across their entire product suite.
- Collaborate closely with designers and engineers, ensuring animations and motion
graphics are flawlessly integrated, enhancing both function and beauty.
- Utilize storytelling through motion to deliver experiences that connect with users on an
emotional level, elevating their interaction with their products.
- Provide and seek out feedback from your peers in the design team, as well as
cross-functional partners, to refine and elevate the motion design work.
- Contribute to and expand upon the motion design library, setting new
benchmarks for visual and interactive excellence.
- Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, consistently delivering work that speaks
volumes of visual and motion design excellence.
Key qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in motion design or a related field.
- Proficiency in After Effects, Cinema 4D, Figma, and other animation and design
software.
- A portfolio that showcases a wide range of motion design work, from conceptual designs
to detailed animations.
- Self-motivation, a deep understanding of their consumers, and a relentless pursuit of
excellence.
- An insatiable curiosity and an eagerness to learn and experiment with new animation
techniques and trends.
