    NTT DATA is seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our Construction Safety and Audits function in India. As the Country Head, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety strategies, incorporating Safety in Design, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards across our construction projects in India.

    Responsibilities:

    • and implement a comprehensive safety strategy, procedures, and programs aligned with the company's overall safety vision and goals of Zero Harm.
    • and manage a team of safety professionals to ensure a safe working environment across all construction sites.
    • regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
    • with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety into project planning and execution.
    • safety training and guidance to employees on safe work practices and procedures.
    • accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
    • and update safety records, reports, and documentation.
    • informed about industry trends and best practices in safety management.
    • with project teams to ensure safety in design is integrated into project planning and execution.
    • and deliver safety training programs for employees, contractors, and site workers.
    • and report on safety performance metrics, including incident rates, near-miss reporting, and safety observations.
    • compliance with relevant Indian safety regulations, standards, and industry best practices.

    • a comprehensive safety audit of the DC prior to handover and identify snag points to be closed prior to site getting operational.

    Qualifications:

    • degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
    • Professional certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001 auditor/Lead auditor certification) highly desirable.
    • Minimum of 18 years of experience in safety management, with at least 5-8 years in a leadership role.
    • Strong knowledge of local and international safety regulations and standards.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
    • Proficiency in computer applications related to safety management.
