    Social Media Manager

    About us:

    GradRight is an Ed-fintech startup focused on global higher education. We are committed to enabling global youth aspirations by helping students find the "right education" at the "right cost." We aim to assist students in discovering their best-fit universities and funding plans.

    Our flagship product - FundRight is the world's first student loan bidding platform. GradRight won the HSBC Fintech Innovation Challenge supported by the Ministry of Electronics & IT, Government of India & was among the top 7 global finalists in The PIEoneer awards hosted by The PIE News, UK. Since September 2020, we have received over US$900 million in loan requests and successfully secured over US$150 million in loan approvals for more than 3000 students.

    Our recently launched product - SelectRight brings together students and universities on one platform to provide an innovative approach to university selection and student recruitment. The product rests on the three pillars of data science, transparency, and ethics to match students to their best-fit universities and programs.

    Core Responsibilities:

    1. Lead the development and execution of comprehensive social media strategies that align with company objectives, ensuring a clear roadmap for achieving goals and growth.
    2. Execute and oversee the creation, curation, and scheduling of high-quality, engaging content across multiple social media platforms, driving increased brand visibility and audience interaction.
    3. Utilize analytics tools to monitor, measure, and report on the performance of social media campaigns, translating data into actionable insights to optimize strategies and improve ROI
    4. Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of social media efforts with overall marketing and business initiatives.
    5. Develop and implement crisis communication plans, demonstrating the ability to effectively manage and protect the brand's reputation during challenging situations or social media crises.

    Other Responsibilities:

    1. To keep a track of news in the higher education and financing sector to create insightful posts
    2. To stay abreast with new social content ideas and apply learnings to enhance our communication
    3. To work with our design, and content team members to ensure output is aligned & appealing
    4. To collaborate with Sales and Product teams to ensure key product developments are updated on Social Media
    5. To promote events (Lives, webinars, etc) on Social Media

    Qualifications:

    1. A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field
    2. 5-7 years of relevant experience in social media management/brand development

    Skills:

    1. Social Media Mastery: Proficiency in managing and leveraging various social media platforms for marketing purposes
    2. Analytics Proficiency: Ability to analyze social media metrics using analytics tools and platforms.
    3. Content Creation: Skills in creating engaging multimedia content, including graphics and videos
    4. Paid Advertising: Basic understanding of managing paid social media advertising campaigns
    5. SEO/SEM Knowledge: Understanding of SEO and SEM principles for content optimization
    6. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with the audience, respond to comments, and convey the brand's message.
    7. Business Acumen: Understanding of business principles and the ability to align social media efforts with broader business objectives.
