Job Title: Book Sales Manager

Job Description:

1. Establish and maintain relationships with bookstore owners, distributors, managers, and retail buyers nationwide.
2. Present and promote new book releases, bestsellers, and relevant titles to bookstore representatives.
3. Identify potential sales opportunities and develop strategies to increase book sales in each store.
4. Negotiate terms, pricing, and discounts with bookstore representatives to secure orders and good display of books.
5. Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure timely delivery and replenishment of book inventory.
6. Prepare regular sales reports, including sales forecasts, and market insights, to share with management.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Minimum 5 years' experience in book sales - fiction and non-fiction. (Candidates without experience in the book trade will not be considered).
2. Should have led a team of Sales Officers/Executives in retail sales.
3. Should have a strong network and relationships with retailers & distributors all over India.
4. The candidate should be revenue driven and goal oriented.
