As a Platform Engineer at BayOne, you will be an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

Job Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of the cloud infrastructure offerings and platform tools, ensuring that they are secure, scalable, and reliable Collaborate with development teams to enable the delivery of high-quality, secure, and scalable applications on the cloudIdentify areas of improvement and prioritize initiatives that align with business goals and objectivesProvide technical leadership and guidance to the cloud engineering team Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud technologies and bring in recommendations for adoption and implementation of new tools/technologies Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements for the cloud.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

5+ years applied experienceHands-on experience with AWS and Advanced knowledge of Containerization and Container Runtime/Orchestration platforms (Docker/Kubernetes/ECS etc)Hands-on experience with Cloud Infrastructure Provisioning Tools like Terraform, Pulumi, Crossplane & Cloud Formation etc

Proficiency with programming languages with Golang is Must to Have along with Cloud Infrastructure Provisioning Tools like Terraform

Hands-on experience with CI/CD/SCM tools like Jenkins, Spinnaker, Bitbucket / Github etcHands-on experience with logging and monitoring tools Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus etcDeep understanding of cloud infrastructure design and architecture and cloud migration strategiesStrong knowledge of cloud security best practices, shift left methodologies and DevSecOps processesExperience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical fieldPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsExperience implementing multi-cloud architecturesCertifications in target areas (Cloud/Kubernetes/IaC etc)
