    Description

    Desired Skills and experience 7+ years in software engineering with strong experience in .NET / C# and architecture ownership.

    About the Role

    Proven experience building FIX protocol integrations (FIX 4.2/4.4/5.0), including sequencing, session state, replay/resend, and drop-copy concepts.

    Responsibilities

    • Strong understanding of capital markets trading workflows (RFQ, order/execution lifecycle, allocations, post-trade flows).
    • Experience with low-latency engineering: profiling, GC tuning, latency benchmarking, and high-performance orchestration.
    • Solid experience with distributed systems, concurrency, and fault-tolerant design.
    • Strong knowledge of security in financial systems (TLS, certs, secure configuration, secrets management).

    Qualifications

    • Direct integration experience with Bloomberg TOMS and/or Tradeweb connectivity patterns.
    • Familiarity with FIX engines/libraries (e.g., QuickFIX/QuickFIXn or equivalent) and when to extend vs build.
    • Experience with Kafka, MQ, Redpanda.
    • Linux + containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and production operations in on-prem / hybrid environments.
    • gRPC, WebSockets, or binary protocols for internal distribution.
    • Cloud exposure (Azure/AWS), especially for observability and secure networking.
