    Cloud Security EngineerPrincipal Functional Responsibilities

    • Define security best practices for Copeland's public cloud environments and assist IT and Engineering teams improve security postures.
    • Design and implement tools/processes designed to protect the environment from relevant threats.
    • Design, develop, and lead strategies to integrate security processes and tools into DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Identify security risks, assess potential threats, and develop plans to reduce risk to an acceptable level.
    • Support automation capabilities that enable and provide rapid feedback to relevant teams.
    • Act as a security evangelist by collaborating with teams to develop secure design patterns and architectures.
    • Provide oversight of cloud environments, triage issues, and prioritize remediation activities.
    • Lead and participate in risk assessment activities to identify potential threats and gaps within the cloud environment.
    Basic Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related degree
    • Practical experience in the administration of Microsoft Azure and hybrid environments
    • Hands-on experience with tools like Security Center, Defender for Cloud, Azure Security Policies, Entra, and Sentinel
    • Professional certifications in IT and Cybersecurity (, AZ-, CCSP, etc.)
    • Experience building and executing cybersecurity strategies for a global organizationPreferred Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related degree
    plus seven () years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

    • + years of experience in Cybersecurity roles (, security operations, application security, cloud security, etc.)
    • Experience with Azure WAF, Firewalls, Information Protection, Threat Intelligence, Network/Application Security Groups, Key Vault, Purview
    • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects and adjust to changing priorities while multitasking effectively.
    • Self-starter, strong initiative, critical thinker, self-directed with a proven track record to collaborate and inspire change.
    • Experience designing and implementing cybersecurity controls and metrics.
    • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
