• Oversee and lead the Internal audit and SOX complianceteam (Business and IT) manage the service delivery andquality
• Overseeing and anticipating theresource requirements of the clients build the team according tothe needs
• Lead a team of Managers AssistantManagers and Seniors and make sure the team delivers high qualitywork on time and to budget
• Review the riskassessment procedures performed by the team includingidentification of significant accounts & classes oftransactions and mapping of business processes.
• Review SOX documentation such as process flowchartsprocess narratives and risk and controls matrix.
• Suggesting business improvements by assessing risks andcontrols related to business imperatives
• Optimization of processes to reduce inefficiencies andreduce cost
• Integrate data analytics toprovide increased efficiency assurance and value
• Extensive experience of planning implementingcoordinating and executing all phases of SOX compliance (to includeleading walkthroughs and identifying/validating key controlsdeveloping test procedures executing and documenting testing andreporting results to Management)
• Detailedreview of team members execution of SOX procedures and ensuretesting results are appropriately documented.
• Ensure clear concise actionable and practicalobservations and recommendations with a well documented processfor
• communication and resolution with clientson SOX deficiencies observed.
• Regularly trainthe team members on the endtoend SOX compliance process andprocedures.
• Developing longterm relationshipsacross a network of existing and potential clients understandingtheir businesses to provide tailored insights.
• Preparing for leadership decks by synthesizing the dataat company level and connecting the dots and building the storyon
• what is happening in the business and inthe market.

• Look for businessopportunities beyond existing clients to grow thebusiness.

• 9 years of postqualification experience(CA/CPA/ACCA) with a big 4 or mid/toptier accounting firm focusedon SOX
• internal audit.
• Good understanding of the concepts of internal controlsand auditing standards (ex: COSO Framework PCAOB Audit Standards& IIA Standards)
• CISA is an addedadvantage
• Experience in conducting riskassessment procedures pertaining to financial reporting processflow mapping design and
• documentation of RACMcontrols testing evaluation of control deficiencies and remediationplans
• Good understanding of the IT systems andIT controls including areas such as network security logical accesssystems
• maintenance and change managementcontrols at an infrastructure application and databaselevels.
• Focus on continuous improvement inquality of testingrisk and control coverage and teamperformance.
• Review of the sox documentationprepared by the team members
• Possess projectmanagement and organizational skills
• Strongverbal and written communication skills
