    Title: Bid Process Management Expert

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tender and Contract Specialist to join our team.

    With a minimum of 9 years of specific expertise in the tendering & Procurement process ,Having expertise and experience in Government tendering process is having a added advantage. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience navigating the intricacies of government procurement regulations, policies, and procedures. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities associated with public sector tendering, along with a proven track record of successfully securing and managing government contracts.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Government Tender Management: Lead and oversee all aspects of government tender processes, from initial solicitation through to contract award and post-award management.
    2. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to relevant government procurement regulations, policies, and guidelines throughout the tendering and contracting lifecycle.
    3. Bid Preparation and Evaluation: Prepare high-quality tender documents, including requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs), and invitations to tender (ITTs). Evaluate vendor proposals and submissions to identify the most suitable candidates.
    4. Contract Negotiation and Administration: Negotiate contract terms and conditions with selected vendors or contractors. Draft and finalize contracts, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and legal requirements. Administer contracts throughout their duration, monitoring performance, and managing amendments or modifications as necessary.
    5. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including government agencies, project teams, legal counsel, and finance departments, to facilitate smooth and transparent procurement processes.
    6. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with government tenders and contracts, developing proactive strategies to mitigate risks and optimize outcomes
    7. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of evolving government procurement trends, regulations, and technologies. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the organization's tendering and contracting functions.

    Qualifications:

    1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a demonstrable record of academic excellence.
    2. Professional Experience: Previous experience in tendering, procurement, or contract management is essential, showcasing a proven ability to navigate complex processes effectively.
    3. Government Procurement Knowledge: Familiarity with government tendering processes is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
    4. Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential for conveying complex information clearly and effectively.
    5. Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are crucial for evaluating bids, identifying risks, and optimizing processes.
    6. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, with the ability to adapt to and utilize tender management software effectively.
    7. Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to contribute to shared goals.
    8. Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail is essential for maintaining accuracy in documentation and adherence to contractual obligations.
