- You will design, build, ship and maintain the entire Analytics Product area for Eightfold.
- Work closely with Infrastructure, Data Platform and all Product teams .
- Collaborate with peers across Engineering to triage bugs and troubleshoot complex production issues across the stack, especially with respect to data and analytics.
- Write, review, or provide feedback on a technical design proposal
- BS or MS or PhD in Computer Science plus minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience building infrastructure, data pipelines or an enterprise product.
- Prior industry experience in building and shipping SaaS products at scale.
- Able to demonstrate strong Computer Science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, operating system, distributed systems, and information retrieval.
- Been designing, building, and shipping large scale data processing systems at scale.
- Have experience with Data Engineering systems such as Map Reduce, Spark, Databricks, Snowflake..
- Have experience deploying and operating services in a Cloud environment.
- Familiarity with Python/Golang/Java/C++
- Experience with cloud infrastructure like AWS/GCP/Azure
- Desire to work at a startup pace in a small company with a high degree of ownership
- Experience solving for performance, optimization, scalability, latency, and monitoring
- Can jump into situations with few guardrails and make things better.
- Write code that can be easily understood by others with an eye towards clarity and maintainability.
- You are a very strong communicator. You're excited to explain complex technical concepts and share your knowledge with different audiences.

About the Team
The Analytics team at Eightfold is a new engineering team dedicated to owning, building and enhancing Analytics as a product area. You will design and build an Eightfold product end to end including infrastructure all the way to the customer solution. The Analytics team at Eightfold moves fast, solves challenging engineering problems and provides value to our customers. The goal is to design an Analytics product that leverages innovative insights powered by the Eightfold platform and delivers it via dashboards, in-product experiences and a CoPilot chat interface.
