JobSummary:The Senior Mixologist holds aleadership role in the beverage department responsible foroverseeing all aspects of cocktail program developmentimplementation and execution. This position requires a high levelof creativity expertise in mixology and strong leadership skills toensure the delivery of exceptional beverage experiences toguests.
KeyResponsibilities:

1. Develop and curatea creative and innovative cocktail menu featuring a diverse rangeof signature drinks classic cocktails and seasonal offerings incollaboration with the Beverage Director or managementteam.
2. Lead and train bartending staff oncocktail preparation techniques proper use of equipment andadherence to quality and presentation standards fostering a cultureof excellence and continuous improvement.
3. Stayinformed about industry trends new ingredients and innovativetechniques in mixology incorporating them into the cocktail programto keep offerings fresh and exciting.
4. Maintaininventory control procedures including monitoring stock levelsordering supplies and managing costs to ensure profitability whileminimizing waste and spoilage.
5. Create andmaintain standardized recipes for all cocktails ensuringconsistency in flavor presentation and quality across all serviceareas.
6. Conduct regular tasting sessions andmenu reviews with management and staff to solicit feedback evaluateperformance and make necessary adjustments to enhance the cocktailprogram.
7. Collaborate with the kitchen team todevelop cocktail pairings and incorporate culinary ingredients intococktail recipes creating synergy between the beverage and foodofferings.
8. Oversee the setup and organizationof the bar area including proper storage of ingredients glasswareand equipment to ensure efficient operations and compliance withhealth and safety regulations.
9. Provideexceptional customer service by engaging with guests answeringquestions about cocktails and making recommendations based on theirpreferences and tastes.
10. Assist in planning andexecuting special events promotions and themed nights creatingunique beverage experiences to attract and retainguests.
11. Handle guest feedback and complaintsregarding beverage service promptly and professionally takingappropriate action to resolve issues and ensure guestsatisfaction.
12. Collaborate with the marketingteam to promote the cocktail program through social media specialpromotions and other marketing channels to drive revenue andincrease brandawareness.

Qualifications:

1. Provenexperience as a mixologist or head bartender in a highvolumeupscale establishment with a strong knowledge of cocktailpreparation techniques flavor profiles and mixologyprinciples.
2. Extensive knowledge of spiritsliqueurs bitters and other cocktail ingredients as well as theirorigins production methods and flavorcharacteristics.
3. Creative flair and passion formixology with the ability to develop unique and memorable cocktailsthat appeal to a diverse range of tastes andpreferences.
