- Support senior security personnel in monitoring network traffic and identifying potential security threats or vulnerabilities.
- Provide support in responding to security incidents by assisting in investigations and implementing prescribed measures under supervision.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security measures for network devices, including firewalls, routers, switches, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Perform networking and vulnerability scanning assessments.
- Install and support security software and tools like anti-virus tools, firewalls, systems and patch management.
- Establish and analyze security requirements for existing networks in your organization.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance awareness of security best practices and protocols.
- Contribute to promoting a culture of security consciousness within the organization.
- Collaborate with the security team and other relevant departments to gain exposure to various aspects of network security.
- Continuously learn and develop skills through mentorship and self-directed learning initiatives. You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

Ideal Profile
