    Hiring for: An emerging and rapidly growing Investment Bank, led by industry veterans

    Role: Senior Investment Banking Professionals (Debt Fundraising Specialists)

    Location: Mumbai (Work From Office with alternate Saturdays working)

    Salary: Based on experience (3 to 6 years up to 18L - 8 to 10 years upto 35L)

    Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Investment Banking Associates with a focus on debt fundraising to join their innovative startup team.

    Role 1: Investor Relations – 2 positions – 3 to 10 years

    Experience in investment banking, particularly in debt capital markets, and possessing strong relationships with Institutional investors like Banks, NBFCs, Wealth Funds, AIFs, Mutual Funds, Insurance Companies, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the capital raising efforts and financial strategies of other NBFCs

    Role 2: Origination – 2 positions – 3 to 10 years

    Experience in investment banking, particularly in debt capital markets, and possessing strong relationships with BFSI and Non-BFSI clients in MFI, Affordable Housing, Commercial Vehicle, MSMEs and Fintechs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Debt Fundraising Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive debt fundraising strategies tailored to the specific needs and growth trajectory of the NBFC
    • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with treasuries, financial institutions, and investors to facilitate successful debt fundraising initiatives.
    • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including cash flow modeling, risk assessment, and scenario analysis, to support debt issuance decisions and optimize funding structures.
    • Due Diligence: Oversee due diligence processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and investor expectations.
    • Deal Structuring: Collaborate with senior leadership to structure debt transactions, negotiate terms, and optimize pricing to achieve favorable outcomes for the startup.
    • Market Research: Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments in debt capital markets to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
    • Presentation and Communication: Prepare compelling pitch materials, presentations, and investment memoranda to effectively communicate the startup's value proposition and financing needs to prospective investors and lenders.
    • Team Leadership: Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and contribute to the overall success of the investment banking team.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: CA (Chartered Accountant), MBA, and/or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) preferred
    • Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and risk assessment
    • Communication Skills: Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts and strategies in a clear and concise manner
