- Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives, including redesigning workflows, optimizing equipment utilization, and standardizing procedures.
- Conduct root cause analysis of process inefficiencies, defects, or failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance, to implement process improvements and resolve technical issues.
- Design and implement process control systems to monitor and maintain process parameters within specified tolerances.
- Perform risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential process disruptions or safety hazards.
- Train production personnel on new processes, procedures, and equipment to ensure effective implementation and compliance.
- Monitor and evaluate process performance metrics, such as cycle time, yield, scrap rate, and uptime, and develop reports to track progress and identify opportunities for further improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in process engineering to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to process safety and environmental compliance.
- Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Problem-solving: Analyzing process issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Project Management: Planning, executing, and monitoring process improvement projects.

- Professional engineering license (PE).
- Six Sigma or Lean certification.
