    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
    • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives, including redesigning workflows, optimizing equipment utilization, and standardizing procedures.
    • Conduct root cause analysis of process inefficiencies, defects, or failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance, to implement process improvements and resolve technical issues.
    • Design and implement process control systems to monitor and maintain process parameters within specified tolerances.
    • Perform risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential process disruptions or safety hazards.
    • Train production personnel on new processes, procedures, and equipment to ensure effective implementation and compliance.
    • Monitor and evaluate process performance metrics, such as cycle time, yield, scrap rate, and uptime, and develop reports to track progress and identify opportunities for further improvement.
    • Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in process engineering to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
    • Proven experience in process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex processes and identify improvement opportunities.
    • Proficiency in process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to process safety and environmental compliance.

    Preferred:

    • Professional engineering license (PE).
    • Six Sigma or Lean certification.
    • Experience with process automation and control systems.
