Responsibilities:

• Drive technical excellence and implementation of best backend engineering practices. Apply technical understanding of:
• Use modern cloud architectures, DevSecOps tools, and tool-chaining to achieve end-to-end automation.
• Use Patterns and best-practices for multi-tiered distributed applications, and Multi-Cloud environment.
• Implement Information Security, Identity and Access Management.
• Develop full stack applications that are scalable, robust, and thoughtfully designed.
• Work on Full software development lifecycle, from design to implementation.
• Ship production code to a large customer base, and will take full ownership of your work, including testing and deployments.
• Collaborate with other software engineers, domain experts, and end-users, to build the right solutions that address our business needs.
• Interface with Software Quality Assurance and deployment teams.
• Participate in design, scoping, implementation, and testing in short agile release cycles.
• Ability to work in shifts.

Qualifications & Skills:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science Engg or equivalent.
• 12-15 years of experience building web applications with

Additional Qualification:

• Proven experience building web applications with (5 years minimum).
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with a framework (e.g., ).
• Experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and data access methods.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good functional and technical understanding and experience with Bechtel's BPS 1.5 and SetRoute applications.
• Development experience with ORM tools (Entity Framework, TypeORM)
• Cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure)
• Apollo GraphQL server/client

Preferred Qualifications:

• Frontend Development: Proven experience building user interfaces with React JS and strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Backend Development: Experience with and its ecosystem for server-side development.
• Server-side development experience with using Typescript (3+)
• Experience with GraphQL: Familiarity with GraphQL for data fetching and manipulation would be a plus.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries for SQL Server / Oracle
• Experience with implementing unit tests in Jest, integration tests, Test Driven Development
