    PositionOverview:

    The TeachingLearningPractices Survey (TLPS) aims to study the state of teaching andlearning practices in classrooms for Grades 13 in governmentschools in several states in different regions of India over aperiod of time. Its the firstofitskind study that would help bringa spotlight on teaching and learning at the centre of the workrelated to early learning in the country.

    As theProject Coordinator for the TLPS you will play a pivotal role inmanaging the entire project leading training initiatives overseeingdata analysis and engaging in additional activities to ensure thesuccess and impact of thesurvey.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    1.Project Management:

    Oversee theendtoend project lifecycle ensuring adherence to timelines budgetand quality standards.

    Coordinate with partnerorganizations and stakeholders to ensure effective collaborationand communication.

    2. Training andCapacity Building:

    Design developand lead training sessions for field staff project coordinators andsupport staff.

    Collaborate with externaltrainers or experts to enhance the capacity of the projectteam.

    3. Data Collection andAnalysis:

    Supervise and monitorthe data collection process in selected districts ensuringconsistency reliability and adherence to the surveyprotocol.

    Lead the data analysis efforts workingclosely with data enumerators and analysts to derive meaningfulinsights.

    4. Tool Development andRefinement:

    Collaborate withpartners and experts to contribute to developing and refining theobservation tool.

    Provide insights based onproject experience to enhance the effectiveness of the observationinstrument.

    5. Advocacy andStakeholder Engagement:

    Engage inadvocacy efforts to raise awareness about the TLPS findings atregional and national levels.

    Fosterrelationships with key stakeholders including governmentrepresentatives NGOs andeducators.

    6. Monitoring andEvaluation:

    Implement a robustmonitoring and evaluation system to track project progress andidentify areas for improvement.

    Collaborate withthe evaluation team to assess the impact of the TLPS on teachingand learningpractices.

    Qualifications:

    Masters degree in Education Social Sciences or a relatedfield.

    At least 34 years of proven experience inproject management preferably in the education sector.

    Strong training and capacitybuilding skillswith experience in designing and delivering trainingprograms.

    Proficient in data analysis tools andmethodologies.

    Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.

    Knowledge of the educationlandscape in India is desirable.

    Demonstratedability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamicenvironment.
