Job Title: Specialist Emergency Physician

Location: Jamshedpur, Jharkhand

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Emergency Physician to join our team at a well-established hospital in Jamshedpur.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients in the emergency department. This includes examining patients, advising on investigations and medications, and initiating treatment as needed.

Main Responsibilities:

• Examine patients and provide timely advice on investigations and medications
• Initiate treatment immediately, including sending patients to the operating theatre if necessary
• Attend to OPD patients daily and oversee the treatment and medical care of patients admitted under guidance from Head Medical
• Conduct annual medical examinations as required
• Supervise and ensure functioning of stores, such as the medical store, dispensary, general store, X-ray unit, laboratory, operation theatre, and hospital kitchen
• Support administration in checking attendance, leave grant, and preparation of duties

Key Skills:

• Providing good standard of medical care - preventive, curative, and promotive
• Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and maintaining records
• Handling First Aid and Emergencies arising out of accident, sickness, etc.
• Liaising with hospitals and specialists for health camps and employee health talks
• Promoting Occupational Health and Hygiene
• Overseeing occupational health center maintenance and administration
• Conducting periodic training programmes on First Aid, General health & hygiene
• Organizing internal audits & risk assessment; implementing health management system; advising employers / employees on safe and healthy work practices & health management systems
• Coordinating in-house trainings on health and safety

Requirements:

MD/DNB Medicine qualification from a recognised university (NMC/MCI recognised)

0-10 years of experience in a similar role
