    ​Infineon Technologies is seeking a Senior Project Manager with experience in software or firmware development to join our team in Bangalore working on building the next generation of IoT and microcontroller software and siliconIn your new role you will:
    Infineon Technologies is seeking a Senior Project Manager with experience in software or firmware development to join our team in Bangalore working on building the next generation of IoT andmicrocontroller software and silicon. Your responsibilities wouldinclude managing new development projects consisting of over 20engineers working around the globe. You will monitor and report onoverall project status by summarizing key project metrics both acrossthe team and to upper management. You will be responsible for ensuringthat work is delivered on time and budget.
    This is a leadership role where you are expected to challenge and actively manage your project team to achieve ambitious targets. Theright candidate will focus on early detection of risks and recommendmitigation actions to prevent impact to the project. You will be expected to understand technical details and a background in software orsilicon development with experience across the full product development cycle.
    Responsibilities
  • Manage global matrix product teams of 20+ engineers
  • Run 2-3 projects simultaneously
  • Detect and escalate issues before they impact the project
  • Collect and present high level accurate status reports to executive management
  • Understand technical issues and risks and ensure appropriate trade offs are made
  • Monitor and enforce compliance to business processes
  • Integrates and balances skills and development areas of team members when creating teams
  • Assigns tasks/ work packages to the most appropriate individuals andholds project team accountable
  • Creates energy and commitment by connecting team members to tasks basedon interests and abilities
  • Determines the most appropriate messages and presents informationconfidently to the project team
  • Takes time to actively listen and provide constructive,behaviorally-oriented feedback
    • You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • 6+ years total relevant working experience
  • 4+ years of Project Management experience
  • Experience with any agile software development (scrum, kanban, lean,etc.)
  • JIRA or equivalent work tracking software experience
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
