    Job Title: Senior Cloud Security Engineer

    We are seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our team of innovators who see gaps in current processes or workflows as opportunities to improve and try something new.     The Senior Cloud Security Engineer partners with business stakeholders to plan, implement, and support security toolsets in support of cloud infrastructure and systems. They provide cyber security expertise in the analysis, assessment, development, and evaluation of security solutions and architectures to secure applications, operating systems, databases, and networks. Additionally, they assist in the development of cyber security requirements, conduct security risk assessments, evaluate security services and technologies, and review and document information security policies and procedures.

    Responsibilities include designing and deploying IT infrastructure projects, managing priorities and tasks to meet deadlines and accomplish goals, defining and implementing process improvements with a focus on leading edge technology, and collaborating with IT infrastructure leadership on architectural design. The Senior Cloud Security Engineer provides implementation and post-delivery support of cloud security integrations and ensures the secure management of cloud infrastructure, including compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

    Requirements for this role include a Bachelor's Degree in IT or a related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years of IT Security and/or security engineering experience. Strong understanding of high-availability solutions and architecture is required, as well as scripting experience in shells and Python. Expert knowledge of cloud infrastructure, security architectures, and standards is necessary, along with knowledge of disaster recovery and high availability plans and best practices. A security certification (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, CEH) is desired, and the ability to manage priorities and tasks in order to meet deadlines and accomplish goals is essential.
