    Description

    As a Sales Manager for Edible Oil, you will oversee sales activities, develop sales strategies, and drive revenue growth within your assigned region. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales professionals, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing client relationships. Your role involves collaborating with internal departments to ensure product availability, quality, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, industry knowledge, and a proven track record in sales management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Sales Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals within the assigned region.
    • Analyze market dynamics, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities and sales channels.
    • Team Leadership and Management:
    • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to maximize their performance and productivity.
    • Set clear sales targets, provide guidance and training, and conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure sales objectives are met.
    • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and channel partners in the edible oil industry within the region.
    • Address customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • New Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and cold calling within the assigned region.
    • Develop and nurture leads through the sales pipeline, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.
    • Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
    • Forecast sales volumes, revenues, and market share based on analysis of historical data, market trends, and customer demand.
    • Prepare regular sales reports, performance metrics, and forecasts for management review and strategic planning.
    • Product Promotion and Marketing:
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns, marketing materials, and product presentations tailored to the regional market.
    • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to showcase products and generate leads.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Liaise with internal departments, including production, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure timely delivery of products and adherence to customer requirements.
    • Communicate customer feedback, market insights, and competitive intelligence to relevant stakeholders to inform product development and business decisions.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field;
    • MBA /MCOMis a plus.
    • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the edible oil or FMCG industry.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
    • Results-oriented approach with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
    • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and sales analytics tools.
    • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.

    Working Conditions:
