JD : GENERACBUSINESS ANALYST

PrimaryPurpose

The Business Analyst will analyze andinterpret complex data sets to provide insights and

recommendations that will help our business partnersdeliver on key goals which

include increasingsales of parts and services improving leadtocontractconversation

and enhancing crossselling of theGenerac portfolio to drive profitable business

growth. To achieve these results the Business Analyst willleverage automation and

visualize tools todeliver proactive insights utilize advanced statistical methodsto

uncover patterns and trends in data and trackteam performance relative to stated

KPIs/OKRs.Additionally the Business Analyst will be responsible for scopingdata

infrastructure and systems that willsupport the teams ongoing analysis and reporting

needs.

Given this role will supportmultiple functional areas the Business Analyst must be

adept at delivering diverse requirements with uniquetimelines and comfortable

managing theexpectations of several business leaders. The ability to becomeintimately

familiar with business processes willbe essential for this role so highly passionate and

Major Responsibilities

Partner with crossfunctional teams to identify businessproblems and develop

solutions that leveragedata

Lead the development and implementation ofdatadriven strategies to drive

meaningfulbusiness results

Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to identify key metrics KPIs anddata

requirements for productinitiatives

Query large datasets using SQL andcurate data for the purpose of analytics

Analyze large and complex data sets using to identify trendspatterns and insights

that informdecisionmaking

Develop and maintain datavisualizations and dashboards using Power BI that

communicate insights to key stakeholders

Design and execute A/B tests analyze results and provideactionable insights to

optimize product featuresand functionalities

Use data to identifyopportunities for process improvements

Stayabreast of industry trends and emerging technologies torecommend

innovative approaches for productanalytics

Minimum JobRequirements

Education

Bachelors degree in a quantitative field such as DataScience Mathematics Statistics

Computer Scienceor Engineering

Certification / License

Work Experience

3years of experience working as a Business Analyst Data Scientist orsimilar role

preferably supporting manufacturedproducts

Knowledge / Skills /Abilities

Deep knowledge of statisticalanalysis

Proficiency with SQL and datavisualization tools such as Power BI

Strongprogramming skills in languages like Python R for dataanalysis

Ability to communicate complexfindings to nontechnical stakeholders in a clear and

concise manner

Strong problemsolvingskills and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment

Selfstarter who is comfortable with ambiguity
