    We are looking for a highly skilled Program Manager to join our IT Services organization at Amazon. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a valuable contribution to our mission of being Earth's most customer-centric company.

    Job Summary

    This role will focus on improving operational efficiency programs for Amazon IT Services, delivering complex medium to large-scale projects from initiation through delivery. You will work on cross-functional projects that serve major parts of the business, are business-critical, and may be global in nature.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop operational strategy and write project proposals.
    • Lead region-wide projects, end-to-end, to deploy solutions in APAC.
    • Develop functional requirements (tech and non-tech), localized for country-specific compliance.
    • Liaise directly with regional leadership and peers on defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
    • Develop and improve project and program management processes.
    • Facilitate Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews with peer organizations reviewing past performance, and service improvement opportunities.
    • Identify and optimize process improvements and operational excellence procedures and process.
    • Partner with Service Owners including Enterprise Engineering, Networking, Business Intelligence, and Product Management to influence the development, design, and reporting of On-Premise tooling.

    Requirements:

    • 6+ years of professional experience in IT operations, product development, or asset management.
    • 4+ years of program management experience, managing medium-to-large scale programs.
    • Experience in operating successfully in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and having the ability to influence senior business leaders through verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives.
    • Solid business judgment capable of driving an organization to the right results with a focused, pragmatic approach to the business.
    • Experience in working with cross-cultural, cross-functional global teams.
    • IT Asset lifecycle knowledge.
    • Ability to analyze operational data and present decisions to leadership.
    • Optimizes procedures, process, and best practices. Handles difficult problems and/or efforts. Mitigates immediate risks.
