• Minimum 5 plus years of IT experience. Minimum 4 years of hand on experience working in Kong API GatewayHand-on experience in installing and configuring Kong API Gateway and integrating with existing APIs.

Experience working on Kong Ingress with Kubernetes and configurations.

Experienced in Kubernetes platformExcellent knowledge about API design standards patterns, open API specifications and best practices especially Swagger and OpenAPI 2.0, REST, JSON, XMLExperience in maintaining the public API specification and documentation using KONG Developer portalGood Understanding of platform to monitor and Debug any platform or application issues.

Experience of automating Kong API gateway configurations as part of DevOps pipelineProven skill in implementing APIs that are consumed by web applications and mobile native applicationsGood knowledge of OAUTH/OIDC - token based authentication protocolExperience with AWS/Azure Cloud Infrastructures is good to have.

Experience with Application Security considerations; including knowledge of Industry standards and trends.

Should be well versed and experienced in Kubernetes platformGood understanding of conceptual and physical design of application integration using APIs and eventsKnowledge of the following is mandatory:

Java, APIs , web services , micro servicesKnowledge and experience of following tools are preferred:
Rest Assured, Jmeter, Junit, Postman, Git, Jira & Confluence.
