    We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our dynamic team of engineers in the development and delivery of innovative products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving results in a fast-paced environment. As an Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our engineering efforts, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, and ensuring the successful execution of projects from conception to completion.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Team Leadership and Management:

    Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

    Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to team members, helping them grow and advance in their careers.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives and ensure effective execution of projects.

    2. Project Planning and Execution:

    Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

    Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements, establish priorities, and allocate resources accordingly.

    Identify and mitigate risks, anticipate challenges, and proactively address issues to keep projects on track.

    3. Technical Leadership:

    Maintain a deep understanding of our technology stack, product architecture, and industry best practices, providing technical guidance and expertise to the team as needed.

    Collaborate with engineers to design scalable and robust solutions, review code, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

    Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on our products and guiding strategic decision-making.

    4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Work closely with product managers, designers, quality assurance engineers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment between engineering and business objectives.

    Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders, translating technical concepts into clear and actionable insights to drive informed decision-making.

    5. Process Improvement and Optimization:

    Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance team productivity through process optimization and automation.

    Implement and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes, driving a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

    Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging feedback and actively seeking out ways to empower team members and drive innovation.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 6-10 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend development and a minimum of 2 years as an Engineering Manager.
    • Proven experience in a leadership or management role, with a track record of successfully leading high-performing engineering teams.
    • Strong technical background with expertise in software development, architecture, and engineering best practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions under pressure.
    • Experience with agile development methodologies, DevOps practices, and project management tools.
    • A passion for technology, innovation, and driving results, with a commitment to delivering high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
