We are seeking a highly skilled andexperienced Director of Technology to join our product company apioneer in managing healthcare benefits.

As the Director ofTechnology you will play a crucial role in leading our technologystrategy driving innovation and overseeing the development anddelivery of our products.

You will work closely withcrossfunctional teams including engineering product management anddesign to ensure the successful execution of our technologyinitiatives.
Thekey facets of responsibilities will include evaluating technologiesdeveloping proofofconcept prototypes designing and developingcomplete endtoend products and building/managing the team. Theideal candidate should be able to mentor guide and train otherengineers. He should also be able to work with differentstakeholders such as business owners leadership and customers.

Qualification:
QualificationRequired: 4year Bachelors OR Masters degree in Computer Engineeringor Computer ScienceYears of experience: 9 14years


Responsibility:

Platform Design:
Collaborate with stakeholders including businessleaders product managers and development teams to understand theorganizations needs and requirements. Design and architect theplatform solution considering factors such as scalabilityperformance security and integrationcapabilities.


Technology Evaluation:
Research and evaluate technology options frameworks and tools thatcan be leveraged to build the platform. Stay updated with thelatest industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure theplatform remains current and aligned with bestpractices.


System Integration:
Defineintegration strategies and patterns for integrating various systemscomponents and services within the platform ecosystem. Ensureseamless data flow and interoperability between different modulesand thirdparty systems.


Scalability andPerformance:

Plan and implement strategies to ensure the platformcan handle high volumes of traffic and scale effectively to meetgrowing demands.

Optimize performance by identifying bottlenecksmonitoring system health and implementing performance tuningmeasures.


Technical Leadership:
Providetechnical guidance and leadership to development teams architectsand engineers involved in platform development. Mentor and coachteam members promote best practices and drive continuousimprovement in platform developmentprocesses.


Documentation and Communication:
Create architectural documentation diagrams and guidelines tofacilitate understanding and implementation of the platformarchitecture. Communicate complex technical concepts andarchitectural decisions to nontechnical stakeholders in a clear andconcise manner.


Collaboration andStakeholder Management:

Collaborate with crossfunctional teamsincluding product management operations and infrastructure teams toensure alignment and effective coordination throughout the platformdevelopment lifecycle.

Engage with external stakeholders such asvendors and partners to integrate their solutions into the platformecosystem.


Skills:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science InformationTechnology or a related field. Extensiveexperience in software development architecture and design with afocus on building scalable and distributedplatforms. Proficiency in a variety ofprogramming languages like C# Java frameworks and technologiesrelevant to platform development. Strongunderstanding of cloud computing microservices architecture APIdesign and serviceoriented architecture (SOA)principles.

Ability to assimilateinformation updated technical knowhow and ability to thinktechnology Strong knowledge of datastructure algorithms and coding Excellentanalytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to translatebusiness requirements into technicalsolutions.

Effective communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and buildrelationships with stakeholders at various levels of theorganization.

Proven experience in databasetechnologies (SQL NoSQL) Experience infrontend development frameworks (React JS Angular jQueryetc.) Familiarity with infrastructuretechnologies including virtualization containerization and cloudplatforms.

Experience in containerbaseddeployments (Kubernetes) Strong analyticalproblem solving and design skills. Goodcommunication and organizationalskills
