Spacecraft Structural Engineer

Education : Masters degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering

Experience : Minimum 2+ years of experience in relevant or related work

Requirements

Experience conducting structural assessments of spacecraft structures, including mass

optimization, material selection, trade-off analysis, and model verification and

validation using finite element method.

Experience performing structural and dynamic simulations, including acoustic and

thermoelastic analysis.

Experience with spacecraft structural testing, including test procedure development,

test execution, and post-test data processing.

Knowledge of composite materials, nonlinear materials, energy and finite element

methods, fracture, and fatigue analysis.

Familiarity with material selection and ruggedization techniques for spacecrafts.

Familiarity with structural analysis of composites and nonlinear material simulation.

Working knowledge of CAD software(Catia) ,FEA software(Ansys) and geometric

dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
