Description

Experience 5 to 10 years. B.E. inElectrical/Mechanical/civil engineering with 1 year industrialsafety diploma course from a recognized institute. Identify the training needs schedule the training andimpart training to staff visitors subcontractors andworkmen. Monitor the compliance of legalrequirements at worksite. Conduct andparticipate in the EHS committee activities. Prepare of EHS risk assessment and facilitate safeoperating procedures. Prepare siteemergency response plan and conduct periodic mock drill atsites.

Conduct periodical inspection ofsites labor camps site offices and site stores identify the safetyissues analyze the incident trends and initiate necessarycorrective and preventive action at site.

Closely coordinate with P&M team for periodical inspection ofall equipment at site. Review and appraisesite EHS performance and facilitate for improvement. Work in coordination with the project team. Facilitate the implementation of work permitsystem. Update the sitespecific SOPs tomeet the sitespecific requirements. Preparation of site EHS statistics and reporting it to Cluster EHSManager/ Coordinator on a weekly or monthly basis. Timely reporting of EHS deviations to project managerfor continual improvement. Organizecampaigns competition and other special emphasis programs topromote EHS at workplace. Implement theDigital Initiatives. Inspection of fireextinguishers on a periodical basis.

TechnicalExpertise: Profound knowledge in basic electrical civil andmechanical concepts. Knowledge on ISO14001:2015 and IS 45001:2018 standards. Trained in the Hazard Identification Risk Assessment (HIRA) andAspect Impact Assessment. Auditingskills. Technical knowledge on liftingtools and tackles Plant and Machinery. Ability to provide effective training. Ability to execute safety measures in case of anydiscrepancies. Good Oral / Writtencommunication skill in English.
