    Position Description

    The Professional Services (PS) onsite Resident Engineer is working at a specific and major customer premise, leading Radware security portfolio architecture, implementation and maintenance according to the best practices. Cooperates daily with Professional Services Engineering, Global Support, Cloud Operation, R&D and Product Management teams inside Radware, to ensure customers gain the best value and service.

    Responsibilities:

    • Owning Customers Post Sales relationship
    • Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with key internal and customer personnel to work effectively
    • Become a valued member of the customers engineering team
    • Participating in Customers onboarding to Radware services
    • Analyzing and deeply understanding Customer technical needs and customizations.
    • Cooperating with different departments in Radware internally (Support, Cloud, Professional Services, R&D), to ensure customers gain the best value and service
    • Advocating Customer needs inside the company
    • Creation of solutions detailed technical design and documentation HLD, SoW, LLD, ATP
    • Solution implementation according to agreed schedule and timelines
    • Troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during implementation (interaction with the back-office and R&D teams, if needed)
    • Performing periodic Radware solutions tuning and maintaining configuration and software best practices.
    • Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues associated with Redwares equipment.
    • Developing standardized operational procedures for Radware equipment in Customer's environment.
    • Generating weekly reports on work in progress and status.
    • Performing periodic meetings with Customer technical team and providing operational/security reporting and consultancy on Radware solution.
    • Coordinating new business opportunities and technical solutions with Pre-Sale Engineering

    Requirements

    • At least 5 years industry relevant, Networking and Security integration work experience.
    • Customer orientation and onsite support experience.
    • Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with L2/L3 Switching/Routing, L4/L7 switching (Cisco, Juniper). Special attention to Service Providers routing and switching protocols (BGP based environment).
    • Hands-on experience and knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN, IPSec technologies.
    • Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM)
    • Good knowledge of Linux environment and script writing skills in at least one of the following: Bash, Perl, Python.
    • Industry standard networking and/or networking security certifications.
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities - complex problems troubleshooting and resolution.
    • Solid communication and interpersonal skills written and verbal.
    • Fluent English communication written and verbal.
    • The daily work is at Customer's premises.

    Advantages.

    • Familiarity with Radware DDoS products, or other vendors DoS attack mitigation solutions.
