Job Description :

Key Responsibility Areas :

Develop and execute the engineering strategy to support the company's overall vision and goals.
Lead the engineering team and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation. Manage and prioritize engineering resources to ensure timely and highquality delivery of products and features.
Monitor and evaluate technology trends, tools, and frameworks to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.
Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing among the engineering team.
Work with various stakeholders to identify the scope of the projects, and come up with the approach and design for the project.
Document the architectural blueprint and endtoend design through flowcharts and diagrams.
Troubleshoot any errors or issues that arise in the application/infrastructure components quickly and efficiently.

Skills and Expertise (Must Have) :

Expertise in backend development with any of the programming languages like Golang, Rust, PHP, Python, etc (Any one language)
Indepth understanding of fundamentals of SQL and NoSQL. Experience in databases like Postgres, Cassandra, Graphdb, etc. (Any one)
Indepth understanding of event driven systems architecture and Design. Handson experience on message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ or both.
Knowledge of monitoring framework (APM or ELK)
Strong technical background in software engineering, architecture, and design patterns.
Min 10 Years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Hands on experience of data model, database design, and data analytics.
Hands on experience of architecture and design of large systems on cloud infrastructure like AWS, GCP or Azure.
Experience in CI/CD, containers and Kubernetes with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience of leading, hiring, mentoring, coaching and performance management of engineers in the team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and vendors.
Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.

Good to Have :

Experience with SaaS, enterprise software, or other complex software products is a plus.
Experience with machine learning and data analytics is a plus.
