    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Assistant Manager - Validation & Testing

    ROLE DESCRIPTION

    This position is with the Product Management team of Sun Mobility and shall be responsible for contributing towards building new products, upgrading existing products, solutions and product road map creation.

    QUALIFICATION

    The candidate must be a Graduate in Electrical or Electronics with 3 – 5 years of testing experience in Electronics Hardware & Software or Electrical or Automotive systems or in equivalent fields.

    ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Carry out Cell Development, Characteristic and Safety Test
    2. Establish battery and cell Reliability Life cycle.
    3. Ensuring Testers and Chambers working properly.
    4. Ensuring the Working Environment Safety , 5S and EHS documentation.
    5. Coordinate for Tester and Chamber Calibration as per recommended Interval.
    6. DVVP preparation for cell and battery pack to finalize test cases and run test as planned.
    7. Testing Setup Preparation and validating battery Pack Software and Hardware.
    8. Managing the 3 shift Operation including weekend Operation
    9. Preparation of reports and submission for review on time.
    10. Carry out Project Planning and execute testing activity.
    11. Software Testing for Battery Pack and Charging Station as per Validation Plan.

    PREFERRED SKILLS

    1. Basic knowledge of Communication protocol.
    2. Knowledge in CAN Protocol /CANoe Software is the add on advantage.
    3. Understanding of automotive standards and test requirements.
    4. Basic Knowledge of Switch Gears and Wiring harness circuit diagram.
    5. Ability to learn and understand the technologies.
    6. Willing to Work for extended Hours based on Project Requirements.
    7. Knowledge of Climatic Chambers and Tester Programming.
    8. Understanding of BP Software Logic.
    9. Knowledge of Battery Pack Cell and Pack Testing and Validation.
    10. Should have basic computer knowledge and know to use office tools such as Excel, word, power point, email.
    11. Linux (CLI)/Python scripting /C -Code knowledge is the add on advantage.
