    Job Description:

    Summary:

    The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in SQL and Power BI, enabling them to extract, transform, and visualize data effectively. This role requires a keen analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Data Extraction and Transformation:

    Write and optimize SQL queries to extract data from various databases.

    Clean, transform, and preprocess raw data to ensure accuracy and reliability.

    2. Data Analysis:

    Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

    Develop and implement statistical models for predictive and prescriptive analysis.

    3. Data Visualization:

    Create visually appealing and insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI.

    Present complex data in a clear and understandable manner for stakeholders.

    4. Quality Assurance:

    Ensure data integrity and quality by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.

    Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot data-related issues.

    5. Collaboration:

    Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and objectives.

    Collaborate with data engineers and other analysts to streamline data processes.

    6. Continuous Improvement:

    Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis.

    Propose and implement improvements to data analysis processes and tools.

    7. Documentation:

    Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings for future reference.

    Create user guides and documentation for reports and dashboards.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems).

    Proven experience as a Data Analyst with expertise in SQL and Power BI.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles.

    Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

    Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work.

    Preferred Skills:

    Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView).

    Programming skills in languages such as Python or R.

    Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
