    Project Analytics and Operations Manager

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Analytics and Operations Manager to join our LLM Data Services Business Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving key initiatives and ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact projects.

    This role focuses on two primary goals:

    Goal 1: Enhancing Data Quality and Availability

    Ensure the availability of high-quality, diverse data sets to support the training and optimization of large language models. Implement best practices for data collection, annotation, and validation to maintain data integrity and relevance.

    Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify data needs and develop strategies to meet those needs effectively.

    Goal 2: Driving Operational Excellence

    Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget. Utilize advanced analytics and SQL queries to extract and analyze data to support operational strategies and project tracking.

    Develop and implement scalable processes to improve operational efficiency and productivity within the business unit. Monitor and report on project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
    • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
    • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
    • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
    • Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
    • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
    • Advanced SQL skills for querying, data analysis, and optimization, including the ability to manage large datasets, perform complex joins, and write efficient queries for data extraction and transformation.
    • Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables), data visualization, and creating complex reports for stakeholders.
    • Proven working experience in project management, with a focus on data services or machine learning projects.
    • Strong understanding of data management principles and practices.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
    • Strong working knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
    • PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification is a plus.
    • Experience with agile methodologies is preferred.

    The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
