ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As part of the Medical Product testing team, should be able to plan, identify and execute testing activities in a product development to meet the quality and project goals but not limited to the following:

Plan and execute testing activities in a Product development project.
Defining test methodology for ensuring the quality of embedded Firmware and System level.
Creating/defining the necessary tools and test plans for conducting firmware testing and system verification.

Developing new processes and tools to speed the testing process (e.g., automation testing) to improve SW test coverage and reduce testing cycle timeImplement and drive Software Testing Life Cycle in an Agile development methodologyUnderstand product features in detail, develop test cases and perform test execution to challenge the designPerform traceability of test cases to requirements and ensure test completenessDrive and Perform Integration, Software, System, Functional and Regression testing through Manual and Automation testingEnsure safety and quality of the productWork Closely with development team and Project team to meet the project timelines.

Identifies opportunities for improvements, offer new ideas and take initiative to improve process.
Perform test optimization and early identification of defects.
Demonstrate the ability to learn fast and understand new technologies and medical domain.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATI ON AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:
o Engineering degree or above in Electrical/Electronics/Software engineering or equivalent


TECHNICAL COMPETENCY :

4 to 6 Years of experience in Product Development Testing – Software and SystemGood knowledge on Blackbox test case design technique.

Knowledge on Agile methodology and experience in complete product development lifecycle.
Experience and knowledgeable in interpreting design and identify test scenarioGood knowledge in system integration, test design and verification strategy.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE TION AND EXPERIENCE (DESIRABLES) :Background in medical industry with working knowledge on IEC standards, and knowledge in testing medical devices.

Good understanding of medical device testing and in driving quality and regulatory changes.
Experience using a Requirements Management tool, such as Code Beamer or DOORs, Jira for requirements and test cases management.
Preferably experience in Test Automation on various platforms.

Experience working on ARM based Micro controllers like STM32 and Embedded LinuxSound knowledge of peripheral drivers like I2C/ SPI/ UART/ USB/ GPIOs/ BLE etc.
