    Junior DevOps Engineer / System Administrator (Full-Time / Remote)

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a motivated and skilled Junior DevOps Engineer/System Administrator to manage and maintain our WordPress-based web platform, mobile applications (Flutter for Android and iOS), MySQL database, Virtual Machines (VMs), and Azure DevOps environment. This is a full-time or remote position ideal for individuals with experience in managing WordPress, PHP, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Firebase), and system administration.

    The role requires ensuring the seamless operation, customization, and performance of our web and mobile applications, integrating third-party APIs and services, and protecting internal resources through robust security measures.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. WordPress Management and Customization:
    • Manage and maintain the WordPress-based web platform, ensuring optimal performance, uptime, and security.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with WordPress functionality, integrations, and customizations.
    1. PHP:
    • Ensure smooth integration of third-party APIs using PHP.
    • Collaborate with developers to implement and maintain custom WordPress features.
    1. Azure DevOps Management:
    • Set up and manage pipelines in Azure DevOps for CI/CD automation.
    • Monitor and optimize build and release processes for web and mobile applications.
    • Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth deployments using Azure DevOps.
    1. Virtual Machine Management:
    • Configure and maintain Virtual Machines (VMs) for hosting applications and services.
    • Monitor VM resource utilization and optimize performance.
    1. Proxy Server Management:
    • Set up and maintain a Proxy Server to ensure secure access to internal resources.
    • Monitor and manage traffic flow through the Proxy Server for enhanced security and efficiency.
    1. Database Administration:
    • Manage MySQL database, including backup, recovery, and optimization.
    • Ensure database security and integrity.
    1. Server and Cloud Management:
    • Configure and maintain AWS and Firebase services as required.
    • Monitor server performance and manage system updates.
    1. API and Integration:
    • Manage third-party API integrations for payments, notifications, and other services.
    • Ensure smooth API functionality and troubleshoot issues.
    1. Security and Maintenance:
    • Implement data protection measures, including Proxy Servers and firewalls.
    • Monitor for vulnerabilities and unauthorized access attempts.
    1. Performance Optimization:
    • Analyze system logs and metrics to identify bottlenecks.
    • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance performance.
    1. Monitoring and Alerts:
    • Set up monitoring tools to track uptime, server health, and key metrics.
    • Respond to alerts and resolve issues promptly.

    Collaboration:

    • Work with developers and testers to resolve technical challenges.
    • Assist with deployments and troubleshoot live issues.
    1. Version Control with Git:
    • Manage and maintain Git repositories for code versioning and collaboration.
    • Set up and enforce Git workflows, such as branching, merging, and pull requests.
    • Collaborate with the development team to ensure proper version control practices.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    1. Technical Expertise:
    • Hands-on experience with WordPress management, including plugins, themes, and troubleshooting.
    • Proficiency in PHP for WordPress backend integrations.
    • Proficiency in Azure DevOps (pipelines, repositories, artifacts).
    • Experience with Git for version control, including branching, merging, and resolving conflicts.
    • Knowledge of Proxy Server setup and management for secure resource access.
    • Proficiency in MySQL database management.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Firebase.
    • Basic understanding of Flutter apps and their backend integrations.
    1. Tools and Technologies:
    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
    • Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., UptimeRobot, Firebase Performance Monitoring).
    • Familiarity with Proxy Server tools like Squid, Nginx, or HAProxy.
