Job Title: Senior MongoDB Database Administrator

Experience Required: 7+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain MongoDB database environments, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Develop and implement database solutions, including schema design, indexing strategies, and query optimization, to meet application requirements.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues, implementing proactive measures to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
• Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backup and recovery, patch management, and capacity planning, to maintain database health and stability.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in database administration, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to enhance system performance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in database administration, with a focus on MongoDB.
• Strong proficiency in MongoDB database design, implementation, and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB replication, sharding, and clustering.
• Proficiency in database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Experience with database security concepts and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• MongoDB certification(s) preferred.
