This venture brings together the global expertise, experience and reputation of QS Quacquarelli Symonds, UK with deep local knowledge of the Indian education system. It is a rating tool that captures the essence of the dynamic Indian education system, and conforms to international standards and best practices.

    We are seeking a motivated individual to be part of our customer relations and business development activities across India in the K-12 segment and reach out to new schools, thereby increasing our market footprint.

    This position will require a strong consultative sales approach, an understanding of the education industry, and a flair for holding intellectual conversations with senior educationalists.

    Must-haves for this position:


    • Minimum 5 years of the K-12 education sector business development experience


    • Excellent connections with International/Residential/CBSE schools in South India

    (Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, AP, Telangana & Kerala)


    • Applicant must be based in South India and willing to work out of our office in Bangalore


    • Exceptional communication skills

    Job Description:


    • Assist in the development of sales plan and prepare forecasts and KPI reporting for the sales team


    • Prospecting, cultivating new institutional relationships, and generating revenue through sales of our School Rating System


    • Making sales presentations to leaders of prospective clients


    • Support in implementing sales strategies set by management


    • Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development


    • Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers both externally and internally


    • Account management - preparing proposals and negotiating contracts


    • Timely and accurate CRM Data Management

    Accountabilities:


    • Sales revenue & target


    • Building a healthy sales pipeline of K-12 Schools


    • Able to provide relevant feedback to the management on market perception, realities, and recommendations to strengthen the offering.


    • Identify emerging markets and give recommendations on expanding the customer base

    Requirements:


    • Candidate must have experience in the education sector.


    • A strong, confident, and personable communicator, comfortable dealing with high-level academics, board members, promoters etc.


    • Demonstrated ability to influence clients at all levels of the organisation.


    • Ability to work under pressure and deliver under tight deadlines.


    • Meticulous attention to detail with strong coordination, communication and time management skills.


    • Able to converse proficiently in English, Hindi and any other regional language.


    • Able to travel at short notice (50% travel anticipated).


    • Able to use technology for day-to-day business needs including CRM applications.


    • Adept at managing online meetings, video conferences with clients and stakeholders in a seamless and professional manner.


    • Results-driven and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
