    Job Description: We are currently seeking a talented and experienced SS&C Tech Algo Credit Manager Expert to join our dynamic team. As a Credit Manager Expert, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced algorithms and models to optimize credit risk management processes and enhance decision-making in the financial services sector.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Algorithm Development: Design, develop, and implement sophisticated algorithms and predictive models to assess credit risk, including credit scoring models, stress testing models, and portfolio optimization algorithms.

    2. Data Analysis: Analyse large datasets containing financial, credit, and market data to identify trends, patterns, and risk factors that may impact credit portfolios. Utilize statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to extract insights and make data-driven decisions.

    3. Risk Assessment: Develop methodologies and algorithms to assess the creditworthiness of individuals, businesses, and financial instruments, considering factors such as credit history, financial statements, market conditions, and macroeconomic indicators.

    4. Portfolio Management: Optimize credit portfolios by developing algorithms for portfolio selection, allocation, and rebalancing, taking into account risk-return trade-offs, diversification strategies, and regulatory requirements.

    5. Model Validation: Validate and back-test credit risk models to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards such as Basel III, IFRS 9, and CCAR. Identify areas for model improvement and optimization.

    6. Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of regulatory developments and industry best practices related to credit risk management, and ensure that algorithms and models comply with applicable regulations and guidelines.

    7. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including risk management, compliance, finance, and IT, to integrate algorithmic solutions into existing systems and processes and support business objectives.

    8. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate algorithmic methodologies, model results, and insights to internal stakeholders, regulators, and clients.

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred.

    2. Extensive experience in credit risk management, quantitative finance, and algorithmic modelling, preferably in a financial institution or fintech company.

    3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB, along with experience using statistical analysis tools and libraries (e.g., SAS, MATLAB, NumPy).

    4. Strong understanding of financial markets, credit products, and regulatory requirements related to credit risk management (e.g., Basel III, IFRS 9, CECL).

    5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into algorithmic solutions.

    6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    7. Experience with credit risk modelling techniques, machine learning algorithms, and big data analytics platforms is highly desirable
