    Description

    Job Title: Senior Support Engineer (Information Technology & Communications)

    Responsibilities:

    Install and configure software, hardware, and networks.

    Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN's remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.

    Ability to create network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.

    Design, develop and deploy modular cloud-based systems.

    Identify, analyse, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.

    Define, plan, implement, maintain, and upgrade security measures, policies, and controls.

    Write reports and provide insights on the efficacy of the current security policies, incident responses, disaster recovery plans, and other security-related information.

    Ensure efficient function of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.

    Create procedures for employees and train them in security awareness.

    Maintains, secure and upgrade a web system and ERP systems.

    Ability to quickly learn technologies and products using documentation and internet resources.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    Relevant degree in Information systems or information technology.

    Familiarity with SQL and database operations.

    Availability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues promptly.

    Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

    Patient and professional demeanour, with a can-do attitude.

    Microsoft, AWS, and other training certifications may be advantageous.
