    Hiring for: Leading US-based financial services group

    Role: HR Business Project Manager

    Location: Pune

    Position Summary:

    The primary objective of a Business Manager is to support the Sr. Director - HR in executing the strategic vision. Business Manager will be responsible for assisting leader on projects, administrative data-reports, bringing structural-organization in running of initiatives managing priorities, facilitating communication across departments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, generating actionable insights from MIS, lead and manage the HR Governance agenda; create, manage and coordinate executive presentations and reporting, and driving key initiatives forward.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Planning:

    • Collaborate with the HR head and leadership team to define and govern the HR agenda
    • Assist in the development and implementation of short-term and long-term HR project plans/charters

    Project Management:

    • Oversee and manage key projects and initiatives, ensuring they are executed on time and within budget
    • Establish project milestones, allocate resources, and monitor progress
    • Deliver routine, concise updates on project statuses and next steps and support thorough preparation of the leadership team for upcoming discussions, commitments, meetings, and governance forums

    Talent Acquisition

    • Act as representative for the organization in appropriate meetings to gather information, provide input and facilitate efficient decision making

    Communication and Coordination:

    • Coordinate and facilitate HR leadership meetings, including setting agendas, preparing materials, and following up on action items
    • Coordinates with other functions to get consolidated views prepared on critical initiatives
    • Keep HR head updated proactively, timely about any key escalations, delays etc

    Performance Metrics and Reporting:

    • Develop and maintain performance metrics to track progress on strategic objectives
    • Prepare and present regular reports on the organization's performance to senior leadership
    • Acts as a representative for the HR organization to gather information, provide input and facilitate efficient decision making

    Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and partnerships
    • Deliver routine, concise updates on project statuses and next steps and supports thorough preparation of the leadership team for upcoming discussions, commitments, meetings, and governance forum

    Executive Support:

    • Provide administrative support to the head of HR, on other tasks as required
    • Coordinate with departmental/regional leadership and stakeholders to ensure effective communication, effective decision making and consensus building where required

    Special Projects:

    • Take the lead on special projects and initiatives that have a significant impact on the organization

    Qualifications:

    • 15+ years professional experience preferably with international organizations having global in-house delivery BFSI GCCs
    • Proven experience in a Chief of Staff or similar strategic business manager role
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to think strategically and execute operationally
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • High level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity
