    Pre-Requisites

    .Qualification: BE- Any discipline, MBA or equivalent is preferred.

    .Experience: Postgraduate (preferably MBA) with at least 5-6 years of experience in research/competitive intelligence/strategic deals function.

    .Candidate needs to have a very good understanding of the IT industry

    .Excellent communication (non-negotiable)

    .Excellent MS office skills

    .Consulting skills - Be able to identify customer problems and come up with solutions

    .See beyond the stated scope to achieve desired outcomes - Past experience of working in challenging environments is a plus

    .Combination of technology and sales orientation is a plus

    Roles & Responsibilities

    .Conceptualize and lead demand generation initiatives in a specific vertical, and collaborate with the sales function on execution

    .Enable the sales team to initiate/grow conversations with prospects via in depth account research/intelligence

    .Identify and evaluate go-to-market verticals/accounts for specific geographies

    .Work with the sales team to identify/define prospect list, identify key offerings/solutions for each prospect account and define GTM

    .Identify industry relevant topics/trends to run demand creation initiatives including campaigns

    .Lead account planning activities - specifically in terms of identifying opportunities in each target account, educating inside sales function, account executives & client partners on the same

    .Create competitive intelligence, industry intelligence and market analysis reports to deliver actionable insights for the sales community

    .Leverage tools such as Draup/Zoom info/Hoovers/LinkedIn and other research-oriented sites

    .Thorough understanding of analyst reports, investor day decks and account press briefings, to understand prospects strategy, focus and thereby take Cognizant solutions to the market

    .Excellent team player and liaise with the sales development executives to target accounts effectively

    .Excellent analytical skills and provide qualitative findings

    .Problem solving abilities to understand request and deliverable designs

    .Good listening skills and comprehensive abilities to understand information
