Position: DevSecOps Engineer

Employment Type: Full-time (Direct-hire on client's payroll)

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Mode of work: Remote (work from home) and Hybrid

Talent should be available when required in premises (once in 6 months or 1 year).

Shift time: 10 AM to 7 PM IST

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Professional with a specialization in DevOps and Blockchain Engineering. The ideal candidate will thrive in a challenging environment, demonstrating enthusiasm and ambition to collaborate within a dynamic team. As a Cloud Professional, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, deploying blockchain components, and ensuring the security and reliability of our systems.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as DevOps & Cloud Engineer on Agile-based projects.
• Experienced on different OS (Linux, Windows).
• Knowledge of Shell scripting.
• Develop, improve, and maintain automated tests in collaboration with Full-Stack Engineers and DevOps Engineers.
• Good experience of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes for deploying and managing blockchain components.
• Good understanding of smart contract written in Go lang, particularly if the testing involves executing transactions and evaluating smart contract behaviour.
• Expertise of network security principles, encryption, secure communication protocols, and the ability to identify and mitigate network-based attacks.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for automating the deployment and configuration of blockchain nodes and supporting infrastructure.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and the ability to deploy and manage blockchain nodes in cloud environments.
• Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana.
• Familiarity with network protocols specific to blockchain, such as the Ethereum peer-to-peer (P2P) protocol or Hyperledger Fabric communication protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Full-Stack Engineers and DevOps Engineers to develop, enhance, and maintain automated tests for blockchain components within an Agile environment.
• Utilize expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for the deployment and management of blockchain components.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Shell scripting, to automate tasks and streamline processes.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for automating the deployment and configuration of blockchain nodes and supporting infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage blockchain nodes in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure), ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
• Monitor system performance and health using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
• Demonstrate a good understanding of network security principles, encryption, secure communication protocols, and the ability to mitigate network-based attacks.
• Familiarity with network protocols specific to blockchain, including Ethereum's peer-to-peer (P2P) protocol and Hyperledger Fabric communication protocols.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in blockchain technology, contributing to the continuous improvement of our systems and processes.
