Job Overview:
A SoftwareDevelopment Engineer in Test (SDET) is a developer with the primaryresponsibilityof writing frameworks and tools to test products. Itis a very unique and challenging role and provides immenseopportunity to design and develop automation frameworks. Itcombines the building aspect of software design engineering withthe breaking aspect of software test engineering. You ll be writingcode that automatically verifies the quality of the product. Thatmeans that you potentially write more code than thedevelopers.

KeyResponsibilities:
Design and build automatedtest frameworks and test suites for use in development and testingcycles. Initiate test case and Code reviews toensure the quality of Test Cases Test coverage and AutomationCode. Collaborating with development teams andyour team peers to identify and prioritize opportunities forautomation. Own up Manual and Automation tasksfor the team when and where necessary. Workclosely with the test team to identify new automationopportunities. Mentor the test automationteam. Contribute to managing testenvironments. Communicate test progress testresults and other relevant information.
Increase Automation confidence by reducing random testfailures. Work closely with the Developmentteam and ensure code is delivered with high codecoverage. Understand our products from both atechnical and business perspective in the context of our largerbusiness.

Asuccessful candidate must have a solid history of deliveringresults be obsessed with quality be detailoriented be a team playerand can work in a fastpaced startuplikeenvironment.

Qualifications:1 years of test automation frameworks and toolsbuildingexperience 3 years of experience as adeveloper QA Engineer or as an SDET 3 years ofexperience in programmatically test the product measure testcoverage develop the best automation drive testability anddiagnostic ability into the product while promoting best practicesin quality areas Experience programming withat least one modern language such as Java Typescript or C#including objectoriented design.

Experience inpenetration testing and exploitabilityfocused vulnerabilityassessment Good knowledge of Software Testingconcepts and methodology Good knowledge ofObject Oriented Programming concepts and DesignPatterns Handson Knowledge of Test Automationapproaches Frameworks and Tools Handsonexperience in UI API Cross Browser TestingTools
PreferredQualifications Knowledge of overall systemarchitecture scalability reliability and performance in a databaseenvironment. Understanding on Android or IOSoperating system and testing mobile devices is an addedadvantage. Experience with open source testtools API automation testing including workingExperience with unit test automationframeworks. Ability to triage issues reactwell to changes work with teams and ability to multitask onmultiple products and projects. Excellentcommunication collaboration reporting analytical and problemsolvingskills. Experience building test frameworksfor creating applications on variousplatforms. Strong sense of ownership urgencyand drive. Demonstrated leadership abilitiesin an engineering environment in driving operational excellence andbest practices. Demonstrated ability toachieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fastpacedenvironment.
