    Description
    • Managing the upkeep of allmanufacturing assets managing maintenance budget and Resources andassisting in the design and installation of new systems
    • Effectively delegate any maintenance issues to beresolved on each shift and small projects to the right skills inthe team planning and managing effective work
    • Adhere to daily and weekly checks to ensure smoothoperation of site.
    • Develop a PlannedPreventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule ensure full preventativemaintenance is carried out as per given schedule.
    • Audit and ensure compliance of the engineering datasystems.
    • Schedule both internal and externalworks maximizing planned down time and reducing unplanneddowntime.
    • Manage the team to ensure machineavailability reactively managing dysfunctional machinery with theShift management.
    • Conduct risk assessments ofprocesses and tasks in the department.
    • Managecontractors on site to ensure they meet legal and companyrequirements.
    • Ensure that the functionoperates in accordance with any health safety and environmentalpolicies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staffand visitors People Management.
    • Focus onrepairs and maintenance.
    • Anticipate needs andpractice planning and preparing.
    • Analysebreakdowns diagnose faults and supervise time critical equipmentrepairs
    • Provide technical expertise tomaintenance people like supervisor electricians fitters andtechnicians
    • Function as project developmentmember to maintain new equipment
