Research Advisor (Geopolitics/Foreign Affairs)

We are seeking a highly qualified Research Advisor to contribute to our South Asia focused research initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international relations and geopolitical analysis, particularly concerning South Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and analyze geopolitical and security developments across South Asia, with a focus on regional cooperation, diplomatic initiatives, and emerging threats.
• Develop and present policy recommendations aimed at enhancing bilateral and multilateral relations, regional stability, and conflict resolution in South Asia.
• Prepare concise, high-quality reports and briefings based on extensive research, interviews, and consultations with regional experts.
• Engage with external partners, including government agencies, academic institutions, and think tanks, to drive collaborative research projects that address strategic and security challenges.
• Offer actionable insights into political, security, and economic risks impacting South Asia, helping inform decision-makers in both government and private sectors.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Expertise in South Asia Studies: Proven experience or academic background in International Relations, Political Science, Defense Studies, or related fields with a focus on South Asia.
• Prior involvement in consultations, policy advising, or participation in major academic or policy conferences related to regional security or international relations.
• Strong ability to synthesize complex geopolitical information, assess security risks, and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to produce well-structured reports and present research findings to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated experience working on collaborative projects and partnerships with external experts, policy institutes, or governmental bodies.
