    Description

    Good comminication Skill in English HindiMarathi Computer knowldge of MS OfficeTo make appointments and book patients inwhen they arrive for an appointment in accordance with the practiceappointment system and to provide a helpful and friendly service topatients ensuring also that the reception area is tidy andwelcoming.

    To answer telephones promptly ensuring that all incominglines are covered at all times. To comply with the practiceprotocol for the printing of prescription requests and queries.

    Tocomply with the practice procedure for the registration of newpatients temporary patients private patients and those seen asemergency or immediately necessary.

    To comply with practiceprotocol for the collection of results from the hospital on a dailybasis and advise patients of any action/advice requested by the GP.To follow practice procedure regarding letters that arrive at thesurgery either externally by post or internally from the hospital.

    To comply with the protocols in place at the practice for thescanning/indexing and workflow of correspondence.

    To comply withthe protocol for deducting patients who have moved out of thepractice catchment area and to follow the procedure for making uprecords for a new patient when their medical records are receivedfrom their previous surgery.

    To comply with all relevant practiceprocedures regulations and protocols and to maintainconfidentiality at all times with particular reference to patientrecords.

    To liaise with the Office Manager and/or Practice Managerwhen required and follow instructions from them when necessary. Toact as receptionist to a named GP or nursing team. To undertake anyother duties as deemed appropriate by the Practice.
