    The incumbent will work in the Systems Management (ITSSM) team, which is responsible for maintaining IT operational infrastructure and providing the following services to the organization: Cloud Administration (AWS and Azure) , the Cloud services in both AWS and Azure, Automation skills like Lambda / Azure automation, Python and Powershell scripting, creating AWS ECS and Kubernetes in Azure and infrastructure components required for business continuity. The incumbent is expected to perform activities like Capacity Planning, Performance Analysis, Availability Monitoring etc.

    Role:

    AWS, Azure cloud admin working as part of the infrastructure team, reporting to the operations lead.

    Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain the Azure and AWS services.
  • Configure and customize security compliance changes according to the requirements.
  • Suggest and promote System Changes in accordance with documented SOPs (Standard Operational Procedures).
  • Provide continuous monitoring, troubleshooting for various cloud services like EC2, Azure VM, Fargate clusters, AKS clusters.
  • Engage in system capacity planning and as part of cloud spend monitor the budgets and resize the underutilized services.
  • Participate in "On Call" weekly shifts supporting off hours and weekend activity.
  • Review and monitor service indicators to meet the agreed upon service levels.
  • Interact with Cloud service providers in enforcing adequate levels of support to ensure continuous availability of Cloud services.
  • Provide support to other technical staff in performing account management, disk space management, backups, baseline security administration, testing of system features, and other systems administration activities.
  • Produce and maintain appropriate documentation and charts describing cloud environment setups, diagrams, operational procedures, and overall inventory.
  • Produce weekly reports of activities and operational status of systems under his/her control.
  • Monitor and review use of systems for Bank access control policy violations in line with Bank's guidelines.
  • Ensure that the defined decommissioning and disposal procedures are followed for all cloud services.
  • Report and respond to critical security events and take corrective measures per defined security incident management processes.
  • Participate in audits, as needed, producing necessary documentation, reports, and explanations, and implement corrective and preventive action plans approved by unit managers.
  • Ability to perform tasks related to Redhat Linux/ Amazon Linux / Ubuntu in Cloud perspective.
  • Selection Criteria:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with 2 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certification Requirements: AWS solution Architect and Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
  • Cloud administration experience – AWS and Azure.
  • Experience in managing AWS EC2, Azure VM, ECS Fargate, Lambda, IAM, AKS, Azure ASE and functions and other cloud services.
  • Experience in Cost Management on both AWS and Azure. Should have knowledge in Cost explorer / Cost savings.
  • Experience in environments supporting RDS, Azure SQL, IAM roles, policies
  • Good knowledge in Cloud formation templates/ YAML. / Azure templates and Blueprints.
  • Good Knowledge in Python scripting.
  • Good knowledge in PowerShell scripting.
  • Good understanding of budgets, cost saving techniques.
  • Excellent knowledge in Cloud network / connectivity trouble shooting.
  • Good knowledge in Red hat Linux/ Amazon Linux / Ubuntu.
  • Team player with strong technical and user support skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
