Job summary
The L3 Linux Patching Administrator is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for the end-to-end patch management lifecycle of the enterprise Linux environment.Responsibilities
- Patch Strategy: Define and maintain the Patch Management policy, ensuring timely deployment of Security Errata, Bug Fixes, and Enhancements.
- Satellite Management: Manage and maintain the Red Hat Satellite infrastructure, including content synchronization, view promotion, and subscription management.
- Vulnerability Remediation: Analyze vulnerability assessment reports (VAPT), prioritize critical CVEs, and map them to relevant errata for remediation.
- Automation: Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks to automate patching, including pre-checks (service status, disk space) and post-checks (application availability).
