Role & responsibilities
IT Operations & Infrastructure Management
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, including hardware, software, networks, and cloud services.
- Manage daily operations of IT systems, networks, servers, installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware/software.
- Ensure availability, performance, and reliability of critical IT infrastructure.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures.
Vendor Management
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers for procurement, renewal and support.
- Manage AMC, rate contract, renewal cycles, SLA penalization matrix.
Security & Risk Management
- Monitor, Identify and mitigate risks related to IT infrastructure, including system failures, data breaches and improve cybersecurity practices
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company security policies.
- Manage antivirus, firewalls, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
Cybersecurity Leadership
- SOC oversight
- SIEM/SOAR governance
- Identity & Access Management oversight
Project Management & Digital Transformation
- IT project Implementation including upgrades, migrations, and new technology.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technological needs.
- Evaluate new tools, platforms, and systems to improve organizational efficiency.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
User Support & IT Service Management
- Oversee IT helpdesk and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Develop SLA-based support processes and continuously improve user experience.
- Train employees on new systems, tools, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, including hardware, software, networks, and cloud services.
Audit Management
- Implement, maintain, and continuously improve controls required for ISO 27001
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Ensure continuous audit readiness across Infra, Network, and Security domains.
- Drive corrective & preventive actions (CAPA) for internal/external audits.
Preferred candidate profile
- Strong expertise in networking, servers, cloud technologies, virtualization, and cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with IT operations management tools and ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with ISO frameworks.
- Knowledge of DR/BCP frameworks and compliance documentation.
- Ability to design, plan, and architect IT infrastructure solutions that meet the organization's current and future needs, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Proficiency in managing and optimizing network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless networks and Firewalls to ensure connectivity and data transmission efficiency.
- Ability to Manage security tools like EPP, EDR, XDR, MDR, SWG, DLP, etc.
- Experience in managing server infrastructure, including virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux), and server hardware (e.g., Dell PowerEdge, HP ProLiant).
- Experience in managing windows and Linux server hosting for organizational needs.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience in migrating, deploying, and managing workloads in cloud environments.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of IT professionals, provide mentorship and guidance, and foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
